I am 29, so I fit your opinion of who is against the bailout. Yet, I have been handed nothing in my life! I have lived off of pancakes and water and refuse to do so again at the cost of someone else. Call this selfish if you may, but why should I have to give more of my money to stabilize another home when I am struggling to keep mine at bay. I ask you why the solution is to give these companies money that they have clearly shown they are unable to manage. They mismanage there own dollars, how foolish are you to think that they will manage the bailout. Now back to your comment about people being handed stuff....What do you think this is? This is simple economics and if they fall, someone will buy them and restructure.

i totally agree with what jim said. why does it really matter if he's black or white? or if an elected official is asian or native american or hispanic or whatever else race there is? the important thing is, he can deliver the promises he made during the campaign and he does his best for the good of the AMERICAN people - be they black, white, asian, hispanic, hawaiian or pacific islander, native american, or middle easterner. all of america, in one way or another in their history has suffered, and indeed even some are still suffering, discrimination because of race. the solution is to move on hard as it may be. as long as one person brings attention to his racial origins as a way to get something from another - special treatment, sympathy or whatever - only just drives deeper the racial divide and creates more difficulty for him/herself.
